United Nations-Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Digg Post: "With all the talk of freedoms and rights these days, maybe we should take a look at the rights and freedoms of every single human being, no matter of race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status."

At least one Digg user has it right here -- let's definitely support the U.N. Declaration of Human Rights, which is the essence of the Scientology Human Rights campaign.

Viral Marketing Vs Search Engine Optimization.

Viral Marketing and Search Engine Optimization have the same motive- and that is to bring traffic to your website/blog. Both work on the same goal but have a slight variation in their strategies. This article is a well-written one that, I feel, is thought-provoking on the subject as one tries to draw the line between what is "spam" and what is "viral marketing".

The North Korea they don't want you to see.

North Korea spends money on nuclear advancement, but yet there are many children starving. This brave man, known only as Ahn Chol uses his hidden camera to show the world what they don't want you to see.

Just one more reason why broad promotion of human rights needs to happen, and why the Church of Scientology's Youth for Human Rights movement is so important. Many people aren't impinged upon by human rights violations, and as such don't see the need for such a campaign. I hope watching this makes it a bit more real.

Scientology Volunteer Minister Jack Farmer

Jack with two selecteesJack Farmer discovered Scientology in 1974 in Bedford, Indiana where he picked up a copy of Dianetics The Modern Science of Mental Health and began applying it. He began auditing as outlined in the book (hence the name book auditor) and soon had a thriving field practice.

He audited a person who subsequently had his glasses changed 3 times in 3 weeks for the better after 15 hours of Dianetics Auditing. Another person after 2 hours of Dianetics auditing had a lifetime problem with a limp from Polio improve dramatically and was walking 50% better because of Dianetics.

Jack grew from a skeptic to a Dianetics practitioner and he knows the power of Scientology and Dianetics technology to change life for the better.

In July of 1974 he heard about Scientology and took his Field Group to Detroit, Michigan for professional training, then moved to Los Angeles to be nearer the Church in Los Angeles. In Los Angeles he again built up a Field Practice as a Volunteer Minister where he did book auditing, ethics handling and assists.

In 1985 he started a Computer Bulletin Board Service (BBS) called the Crusader BBS where he disseminated Scientology. He and his BBS became known worldwide for their Anti-Piracy Stance. This BBS is now Crusader Services, a web based software and survey company. And by the way, he met his future wife on the BBS, brought her into Scientology and the two now run Crusader Services. The name Crusader comes from the Portland Oregon Crusade For Religious Freedom. Jack's BBS and now the company are named in honor of that Crusade and those who participated in that Crusade.

Jack has been a field auditor for 30 years with over 10,000 hours of auditing experience with book auditing and assists. Jack and his wife are also Founding Patrons of the IAS (International Association of Scientologists) and members of IHELP (International Hubbard Ecclesiastic League Of Pastors).

The one thing Jack loves most is using Scientology auditing to help others, as he knows Scientology saved his life and sanity and he knows what it can do for you.

Virtual world may revive outlawed shock treatment experiments

This is the most revolting use of a digital virtual world I think I've yet seen.

I think I would think it much less revolting if I didn't know that such experiments weren't still happening in the real world, today. Just see the DVD at cchr.org -- this stuff is real, and most people just can't confront it. Psychiatrists are experimenting on patients in this manner, with high-voltage shocks enough to kill them, all the way to present time.

Human Rights Day 2006 - Formation of Coalition for Human Rights and Peace

This is a Digg story on the Coalition for Human Rights and Peace was formed at an event hosted by the Church of Scientology of London. It's a subject that seems to get a "hardy har har" from all too many people, as opposed to looking at the real truth of what's happening with Human Rights around the world. As an example, a lot of the posts that many Digg users throw around would land them in jail in some foreign countries.
